Junior Chamber International (JCI) or what people fondly called Jaycees is an organization of young people who wanted to develop themselves to be become better. JCI will use the slogan, “Be Better,” to communicate what the organization helps members achieve: to Be Better – better leaders, better managers, better professionals, better citizens, better business owners, better politicians, better parents, better spouses, better brothers, better sisters, better in whatever role in life we play.
Members are between 18 to 40 years see themselves working in local organization or chapters to create positive change in their respective communities. Members who are coming into the fold of the organization have different expectations from JCI. First thing that one has to ask is what’s in it for one to be JCI member? JCI members earn access to all opportunities available in this organization. Active participation is the key for one to enjoy the full benefits of its membership.

International opportunities allow one to network with other JCI members in other country as well as in the Cambodia. The organization runs outstanding gathering of members from World Congress, International Conference & Summit, National Convention, Area Conference and to numerous council meetings. These convention, summit and conferences offers outstanding training programs and well as activities for members to collaborate, interact, learn and discover new friendship.

JCI also provides opportunity for individual development. Should one wishes to be in leadership position, the organization provides opportunities for one to take this path until one may become a local president or chapter president. Training development track provides opportunities for one be an outstanding trainer of the organization. Highest level for one to achieve this is International Training Fellow, the highest distinction given to a JCI Trainer.  JCI has created and established a certification program that allows any trainer to be certified in conducting JCI Official Courses. JCI Official Courses such as JCI Achieve, JCI Admin, JCI Presenter, JCI Trainer and JCI Designer are high quality training programs developed by JCI International Training Fellows. These are available exclusively for JCI members.

Learning new ways to do business, running your company efficiently or taking on the challenges of entrepreneurship is one area where opportunities are abundant for JCI members. Leadership position in business or corporate has complex needs and challenges, interacting or sharing from fellow JCI members could provide you with valuable insights to make you better in decision making and simply become better manager or business leader.

Everything we learn from JCI, we always pay it forward to our community. JCI members believe that service to humanity is the best work of life and we translate this belief by organizing projects that benefit our respective communities and at the same time achieve the organizations mission of creating positive change. By actively involved in community and other civic activities, we became active citizens who aimed to make our lives better, our place more livable and our future more secured. Project execution provides inherit benefits for members, from developing skills and reinforcing knowledge in project management as well as providing insights and learning from its success and failure.
