2012 National President Message

Dear Beloved JCI Fellows!

Greetings and welcome to 2012!

I am incredibly honored to be voted 2012 JCI Cambodia National President! It is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. I am very honored and committed to do my best in serving JCI Cambodia to bring positive change to Cambodia.

JCI Cambodia is very young, and we are doing our best, what we can and have to catch up. Our foundation is laid strong on focusing on community projects and our close connection with university students. We are not just building leaders, but RESPONSIBLE generations for a better Cambodia and the region. However, there are challenges in the coming year we have to face. These include firming up our team efficiency, partnering with corporate partners, and motivating more young entrepreneurs to join.

During my term in 2012, we have committed to create 2 new Chapters focusing on empowering women and creating greater business networking in the communities. It will be a tough road, there will be a lot of work on team motivation, but I believe JCI Cambodia’s team energy is all around waited to be tapped.

Last of all, I hope to see more new improvement of JCI Cambodia’s international relations with other JCI fellows in the world. Together, we will make the next generations proud of our legacy.

With warm regards,

KOUCH Sokly

JCI is a worldwide community of young active citizens ages 18-40 who share the belief that in order to create positive change, we must take collective action to improve ourselves and the world around us. Engaging in activities ranging from community development to international projects, members demonstrate their social responsibility and improve themselves through participation, leadership and action.
